NGC 457, the Owl Cluster is an open cluster found in the constellation Cassiopeia.
This is one of my favorite clusters to look at during the summer and fall season. In these images, the owl shape is there but it doesn't really stand out that much. But when viewed live at the eyepiece this cluster really does resemble an owl.
This is my most recent image of this cluster. It was taken with a 0.8X reducer on the telescope which geve it a very wide field. It's so wide that the cluser is almost lost in the star field.
