The Ring Nebula is a planetary nebula location in the constellation Lyra.

This one was taken from my heavily light polluted backyard in Edmonton. At this point I was just commissioning the new EQ8 mount and also tackling the collimation of the EdgeHD 11. Not too bad for a quick test taken from the city.

One of these days I do plan to fully image the Ring from a proper dark sky location. Until then it remains a favorite test subject for trying new gear from home.
