View across the Sulphur Gates
This photo is a view across top of the Sulphur Gates. It was taken from the top of the cliff on the west gate and in the foreground, it shows two prongs of rock sticking out over the edge. These two prongs of rock are the pointed ends of the narrow gap in the rocks at the very top of the west gate. The Smoky River can be seen below through the gap. The east gate is the tall cliff on the other side of the Smoky. The Sulphur River can be seen flowing in from the upper left.
